We are exactly 7 months into the eligibility period for the 2019 Grammy Awards which means it’s probably time to look at the early favourites for music’s biggest night. I’ve successfully posted one of these articles in each of the last 4 years with varying degrees of success, my prediction that the Frozen soundtrack would … Continue reading

Grammy Awards 2018: Who should win Album of the Year?
It’s the biggest award of the night and often becomes the most memorable moment of any Grammys telecast. Moments like Arcade Fire taking a surprise win here, or Adele’s reluctance to even accept the award over Beyonce last year have been some of the most memorable times for me. This year is one of the strongest sets of albums in recent memory, with not a single dud in sight. Could it be one of the tightest Album of the Year races in Grammy history? Let’s take a look at the nominees and then see just how deserving each of these albums are in depth. Continue reading
Grammy Awards 2018: Who deserves to win Song of the Year
It was always typical of the Grammy Awards that when considering the Record of the Year and Song of the Year contenders to draw similar conclusions between the near identical lists for the track categories. The question in the Pop categories at the Grammy Awards is always one of eligibility. Which songs and albums will be submitted into genre specific categories when you have the likes of The Weeknd, DJ Khaled and Calvin Harris edging the lines into the pop categories, a factor that’s even more prevalent in 2017 with a … Continue reading
Grammy Awards 2016 Nomination Predictions – Song of the Year
An interesting mix of songs for the main two categories this year and some omissions in my choices that may seem surprising. My picks lean heavily towards the Pop/RnB side of things, with one obvious outlier. Continue reading

30) P!nk – Just Give Me A Reason (Feat. Nate Ruess) P!nk never made it onto my singles or album lists last year, probably an oversight on my part, but Just Give Me A Reason has been a favourite of mine for most of 2013. The vocal performances on this song are incredible, Nate Ruess … Continue reading
