I’ve been itching to write another one of these ‘put a bunch of top 40 singles from an act in a list of favourites and call it definitive’ type articles for a while now. Since I’m heading off to Liverpool next week to see Take That perform for the 5th(!) time, the band that shaped my early childhood seems like the perfect artist to rank this time around.
It may not feel like it, but we are well over 7 months into the eligibility period for the 2018 Grammy Awards. I’ll take a look at the Songs, Albums and New Artists I think could have a chance this year.

Usually by this time of my Grammy predictions I have a really good picture of the music that artists have submitted for each of the categories. 2017 has been very slow for any news of this, so other than some very recent leaks, the submissions list remains more elusive than usual.
There are only 2 songs I’ve tipped for nominations in both Song and Record of the Year in 2017 both of which are the obvious favourites across either award; Hello and Formation are guaranteed nominations here.
