There’s just over 24 hours to go until the nominations for the Grammy Awards 2020 are revealed and I’m finally going to nail down my final predictions for the biggest award of the night. Last year saw the most worthy winner in recent memory win, Golden Hour not only being one of the best albums of that year but of the decade. This year is full of fresh talent, who I think could take up most of the spots here ahead of more typical Grammy stars. Continue reading

UK Top 40 Recap – 27th April 2014
Kicking this week’s chart off we have a new entry from The Kooks at number 40. Down marks their 9th top 40 hit and manages to sneak into the chart by a narrow margin after slipping down the iTunes chart throughout the week. Other new entries between 40-31 include Not A Bad Thing for Justin … Continue reading
Best of 2012: Best Single 40-31
40) Calvin Harris – Sweet Nothing (Feat. Florence Welch) 2012’s dream team kicks off my singles list with Sweet Nothing, a club banger in every sense of the word. Florence’s vocal is ridiculous as usual, whilst Harris provides just enough of his signature drum build up to make this an absolute tune. What an explosive … Continue reading
Best of 2012: Best Music Video
10) Jay-Z & Kanye West – No Church In The Wild (Feat. Frank Ocean) Kicking off this list of music videos is No Church In The Wild, less music video, and more an accompanying set of images. It’s powerful hearing that massive guitar riff alongside these images of people rioting, it makes the whole song … Continue reading
Best of 2012: Best Album 10-1
10) Bruno Mars – Unorthodox Jukebox Plagued by a December release, I doubt Bruno Mars’ second album will appear on many critic’s end of year lists. It deserves to though, refining the elements of his debut and perfecting his throwback style. Gorilla is a massive worldwide hit waiting to happen, possibly even more dramatic than … Continue reading
Grammys 2013: My Predictions (Pop/Rock/Alternative/Country)
I’ve been through the big 4 awards at this year’s Grammys, but with over 70 awards to give out, there’s plenty more oppotunities to get a nomination. Obviously there are some genres I’m not too familiar with, (Best Spoken World Album anyone?), so I will be focusing on ones I can make fair predictions in. … Continue reading
Grammys 2013: My Nomination Predictions
To those people who have been reading posts on my blog since I began, you’ll know that I have a certain obsession with the biggest awards show in music. I’ve written a ridiculous amount of articles about the 2011 and 2012 Grammys, and with the nominations for the 2013 show announced next week it’s time … Continue reading
A Week In The Life…04/02/12
TUNE of Right Now: Give Me All Your Luvin’ (Feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A.) – Madonna If I took into account the whole week that has just gone, my TUNE of the week should probably be Kelly Clarkson Stronger or Swedish House Mafia Antidote. But I knew what song would be on repeat by the … Continue reading
