A blog series I’ve been putting off for a long time, The UK’s Greatest Hits is my take on the 40 biggest selling albums of all time. Some I’ve listened to before, some I definitely haven’t and it might be surprising to discover which is which. I’ll be giving my first impressions or looking back on the years I’ve spent with an album attempting to give some context along the way. These are albums I’ve always thought I should get around to, or those that I’ve been meaning to revisit for a while and hopefully it will be an interesting look into why some of these albums were so popular here in the UK. The list I’m using is over a year old, so there are sure to be some new additions at the bottom, or some movement within it, but for the most part, these are the 40 biggest sellers of all time in the UK. For the next 8 weeks I’ll be posting the next entry in the countdown every weekday so be sure to let me know what you think of each of the albums as I go. Leave a comment on one of the posts, or follow my twitter (@Atkins_Sam) for some possibly less concise views on each album as we go. Let’s get started shall we?
