Remembered mainly for the Queen of Pop’s clothing of choice in the video for brilliant lead single Hung Up, what many forget is just how good the album it was spawned from actually is. A a continuous mix of dance tunes, Confessions on a Dancefloor lives up to the Tour De Force statement issued on its cover. Trance and house beats echo across every track, with hints of the east on Isaac and just a small bit of Sweedish history on Hung Up. No other dance album is so complete with hits, Madonna at her finest.
