The Fame Monster – Lady GaGa – 2009
In just 8 tracks, Lady GaGa pushes the sound she created on The Fame forward, kicking the intensity and overall quality up a notch. A hat-trick of RedOne produced classics open the most addictive album to ever stay under the 10 track mark. The standout moments, including Beyonce’s frenetic intermission in Telephone and the Vogue inspired monologue in Dance in The Dark, never stray from the pop sound fans are used to. What they do accomplish though, most evidently in emotive ballad Speechless, is to bring the rawness and electric atmosphere of GaGa as a performer to an album.
